The events that bring us together strengthen the social fabric of our communities. Manitoba Lotteries sponsors hundreds of these events throughout the province, investing over $1 million annually. We partner with sustainable initiatives that bring lasting social and economic benefits to our communities.

Below are guidelines that we take into consideration when supporting a request.
STRATEGIC FIT
Is the event or program consistent with Manitoba Lotteries mission and values?
Does it further our business goals and objectives by building understanding of our role, messages and products?
Does it provide a cost-effective means of reaching the Corporation’s key target audiences?
Does it provide opportunities to demonstrate corporate citizenship and leadership? (i.e. title sponsorship, media coverage or promotion?)
ORGANIZATION / EVENT / PROJECT
Is the event broad based and does it offer significant economic gains for the host community?
Has the organization or event received other support from Manitoba Lotteries throughout the year?
Does the organization demonstrate fiscal responsibility and effective management of funds?
Has the organization provided its most recent audited financial statements, annual report and budget details for the initiative, including other sources of revenue?
Has the organization demonstrated it has the necessary resources, experience and ability to successfully execute its plans?
Does the organization have clearly defined goals and a comprehensive implementation plan?
How will results be evaluated and shared with Manitoba Lotteries?
EMPLOYEE AND PUBLIC SUPPORT
Is the event of interest and importance to Manitoba Lotteries employees and customers?
Does the event provide opportunities to enhance employee morale and pride through volunteer or participant involvement?
