MERCHANDISE PROGRAM

Manitoba Lotteries donates merchandise to a variety of fundraising community events as a way of demonstrating our commitment to local communities and causes. Currently, the sports bag is utilized for this purpose. On rare occasions when the sports bag inventory is temporarily depleted, other Manitoba Lotteries promotional materials will be made available.

CRITERIA FOR CONSIDERATION

The applicant organization must:

  • Have a Canada Revenue Agency registered charity number or non-profit designation.
  • Be based in the Province of Manitoba or have a Manitoba Division.
  • Raise funds that will primarily benefit Manitobans.
  • Have a corporate relationship with Manitoba Lotteries.
  • Offer a strategic opportunity to support key business objectives or deliver a corporate message to key audiences. Conferences and seminars may be considered.

INELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Ineligible applications are those for:

  • Political parties, initiatives or candidates.
  • Organizations with a controversial mission.
  • Initiatives which are national or international in scope whereby Manitoba is not the host.
  • For-profit organizations.
  • Events and/or activities that primarily have youth and minors in attendance and/or are marketed to this demographic.
  • Individual or commercial pursuits (eg. trips, wedding socials).
  • Conferences, conventions, seminars or workshops.
  • Professional or technical associations.

Groups will be contacted within 3 (three) weeks of receipt of request . If your request is approved, you will be contacted by telephone to arrange for pick-up. If your request is declined, you will be notified in writing.

Please note that requests by telephone or Internet may be declined verbally, and that requests by mass mail-out to a generic address may not be acknowledged.
